Me, as a nature ambassador
As a passionate nature enthusiast deeply connected to the Estonian wilderness, I promise to transform your hike in nature into something truly memorable.
Whether you are new to hiking or an experienced adventurer, I tailor each hike to be an exciting exploration, a nature observation, and an educational journey—all in one.
My goal is to introduce you to Estonian nature in a way that leaves the smallest footprint possible. To fully enjoy time in the wild, I guide you to notice special moments, observe the constantly changing natural surroundings, and experience nature through all the senses—sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. Early morning hikes at sunrise, combined with a refreshing swim in a bog lake, create a unique experience far beyond a simple walk on a trail. It's a chance to notice nature’s artistry through the sparkle of dewdrops, to pause and savor the sun's rays filtering through varied tree trunks, enriched by the mosses that thrive there.
I prefer silent hikes in spring to respect the bird nesting season, and I lead bog hikes from Midsummer until early spring to honor the quietude of these landscapes. I love guiding smaller groups, allowing us time to connect personally, fostering mutual understanding—and, through this, a deeper appreciation of nature.
Each method of hiking and outdoor exploration I use comes from traditional practices; everything new is simply a rediscovery of the old. From skating in winter across mirror-smooth ice on bog lakes to walking mindfully through ancient forests in summer and foraging the berries or mushrooms, to connect to truly.
And as we venture into the wilderness together, my hope is that the more we value and understand the importance of nature, the more we will protect it—and ensure its beauty remains for generations to come.
Also as a community tourism enthusiast in the VisitKorvemaa area, I believe in the joy of working together and fairly valuing the contributions of our local community members. Truly important is sticking together and sharing the joy of our work. Sustainability and resilience are the cornerstones of community-based tourism.
So on each hike, you may also get to enjoy a delightful snack or drink prepared by our local foragers or chefs, giving you a taste of what the community has to offer.
Join me and see Estonian nature and locals' life through my eyes.
